Dusty Chaps Farm can assist you in selling your horse. Our sales have involved (but not limited to) active Thoroughbred race horses to pleasure/recreational horses. We understand that selling a horse can sometimes be very time consuming and difficult due to scheduling conflicts or work demands. We can help you with this. Dusty Chaps Farm will act on your behalf to sell your horse from your own barn. We, with your help, will advertise your horse (includes posting the listing on our website). Not only will we advertise your horse, we will also schedule the showing appointments. We will also be there for you in the event that you can not or chose not to attend. In the rare occasion, that you can not house your horse while you are trying to sell it, we will temporarily board the horse for an additional small fee at our facility (depending on stall availability).
Cost/Fees
The cost to use this service will be a minimum 10% commission fee depending on the final sales price of your horse. There will be an up front advertising fee that will be deducted off the final commission fee at the end of the contract.
**The commision fee covers advertising and time spent selling your horse. In some cases the actual fee may be higher than the 10% minimum fee in order to cover our costs. This will be fully disclosed in any written contract.**

Bubba is a friendly and playful colt that we have raised since birth. He is halter trained, stands for the vet, loads in a trailer and lunges at a walk, trot and canter. Bubba is up-to-date on his shots, deworming, farrier, coggins and EVA tested. He was bred to race. The owner needs to reduce the size of his herd and is willing to sell Bubba as a show or racing prospect. The owner is also willing to sell Bubba as a pleasure horse. This is a very nice colt and will be missed.
