Dusty Chaps Farm - Our Facility

The barn at Dusty Chaps Farm is designed for the comfort and health of your horse. The combination of a high ceiling and dutch doors in each stall, makes the ventilation exceptional all year long.

A wide center isle with two (2) sets of cross-ties allows plenty of room for grooming.
The main barn at Dusty Chaps Farm is insulated and holds 12x12 matted stalls. The stall dividers are a combination of a solid wall and a barred section that stretches the length of the divider. This allows the horses to see one another, thus creating a more tranquil environment for the horses. This set-up also helps promote a healthier air flow thoughout the barn. Each stall has a Dutch door that opens out to a two-part paddock that surrounds the barn. Inside the barn there is also a loft used for equine essentials such as tack, grain and more.

The paddock, riding arena and all pastures are constructed with horse-safe and horse friendly fencing.

All boarders and non-boarding lesson students can take advantage of the riding arena. Dusty Chaps Farm rests on the border of Norman G. Wilder Wildlife Area. So if more than just arena riding is your style, over 4,400 acres and miles of riding trails and roads are at your disposal (seasonal restrictions may apply). From Dusty Chaps Farm, a short 5 minute or less (on horseback) ride will allow you to take full advantage of Norman G. Wilder Wildlife Area. You can also trailer in your horse and park inside the wildlife area if you choose.

Our arena and round pen feature natural footing. Jumps, barrels and other obstacles are available in the arena for student and boarder usage.
